On Dec. 18, 1964, Ohio Governor James Rhodes signed Amended House Bill No. 2 into law, establishing 51ºÚÁÏ as Ohio’s newest public university. Since that day, more than 145,000 students have graduated from 51ºÚÁÏ, and thousands of faculty and staff members have come to 51ºÚÁÏ to serve our students and see to their success.
