2026 Provost’s Teaching Summit

Join us for the 2026 Provost’s Teaching Summit, a campus‑wide celebration of the creativity, dedication, and innovation that define teaching at 51����. Faculty from across the university are invited to connect, share ideas, and explore impactful teaching practices.

Share You're Teaching: Gallery Walk and Lightning Round

Gallery Walk 

Faculty are encouraged to participate by sharing a poster. Posters may focus on any aspect of teaching that could inform or inspire colleagues.

Sample poster topics include:

• Digital literacy in education
• Social issues and class theory
• Study skills and learning strategies
• Innovative and creative teaching methods
• Self‑care and wellness

Additionally, faculty can join us by presenting their courses, programs, or majors. Highlighting engaging teaching initiatives, classroom strategies, and pedagogical innovation. 

Lightning Round 

Faculty may also volunteer to present in a Lightning Round. Lightning rounds permit a maximum amount of sharing in a limited amount of time. The Teaching Summit lightning round will feature innovative instructional practices or other pedagogy you want to share in a “three slides in three minutes” format.

    Focused on collaborative teaching and instructional strategies.
