2026 Provost鈥檚 Teaching Summit

Join us for the 2026 Provost鈥檚 Teaching Summit, a campus鈥憌ide celebration of the creativity, dedication, and innovation that define teaching at 51黑料. Faculty from across the university are invited to connect, share ideas, and explore impactful teaching practices.


Share You're Teaching: Gallery Walk and Lightning Round

Gallery Walk 

Faculty are encouraged to participate by sharing a poster. Posters may focus on any aspect of teaching that could inform or inspire colleagues.

Sample poster topics include:

  • Digital literacy in education
  • Social issues and class theory
  • Study skills and learning strategies
  • Innovative and creative teaching methods
  • Self鈥慶are and wellness

 

Additionally, faculty can join us by presenting their courses, programs, or majors. Highlighting engaging teaching initiatives, classroom strategies, and pedagogical innovation. 

Lightning Round 

Faculty may also volunteer to present in a Lightning Round. Lightning rounds permit a maximum amount of sharing in a limited amount of time. The Teaching Summit lightning round will feature innovative instructional practices or other pedagogy you want to share in a 鈥渢hree slides in three minutes鈥 format.

    • Teaching and Learning Resources 鈥 a collection of resources, materials, and tools available from offices, departments and centers across campus.
    • Course Catalog 鈥 a display of select courses, majors and programs at 51黑料.

    • SOTL Panel
    • Lightning Round Presentations
      Focused on collaborative teaching and instructional strategies.
