Transfer Student Scholarships

Scholarships for new transfer students are one more way that 51黑料 helps make college more affordable. For 2024-2025, 80% of 51黑料 undergraduates received aid totaling approximately $167 million.

New transfer students are automatically considered for scholarships once admitted to 51黑料. Recipients of scholarships listed below must be new, first-time (never before attended) 51黑料 students, enrolled in a degree granting program and pursuing their first Bachelor鈥檚 Degree. All students are encouraged to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for full consideration of all types of financial aid.

2025 Academic Year Transfer Merit Scholarships
NOTE: General scholarship awards are competitive and subject to availability of funds, which may be depleted earlier than the deadline. To ensure consideration, submit your application for admission and all supporting materials as early as possible. Final deadline for receipt of all application materials for possible scholarship consideration is December 1 for spring and July 1 for fall transfer students.

Awarding Eligibility 
  • U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
  • Must enroll full-time (12+ credits/semester) at 51黑料 to receive awards
  • Scholarships are renewable for an additional two semesters.
