51ºÚÁÏ hosted its annual Veterans Appreciation Ceremony to commemorate, recognize and celebrate those who have served.

The Academic Affairs and Student Success Committee and the Financial Affairs Committee of the 51ºÚÁÏ Board of Trustees will meet Nov. 14.

The event will be held at the atrium in 51ºÚÁÏ’s Glickman-Miller Hall (Urban Affairs building) on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Approximately 40 percent of 51ºÚÁÏ students cast ballots in the 2022 midterm election, which is about 10 percent higher than the national voting rate.

The event honored vet social workers and raised awareness of the newly offered Cleveland State program.

During this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month, the College of Arts and Sciences hosted Día Familiar and welcomed high school students from the Hispanic community in Cleveland.

Research students at 51ºÚÁÏ were front and center during the second annual event held at Youngstown State.
